Last night we drove up to Willard to see the lights at the Bay it was really fun. Santa was there so we took pictures with Santa, Dax was pretty unsure at first, but didn't start crying until Santa talked to him and he got a good look at him then it was the end of that.

Ok so Christmas of 2006 I was feeling a little more ambitious than I should have and under took making Corey a quilt for Christmas, well I did not get it done, but promised I would finish it. So now three years later much to Corey's surprise (he thought I would never do it) it is done. Not even close to perfect but it does the job and I hope Corey likes it.

Thanksgiving

The Zoo

Last Thursday Kaylynn called me and asked if Dax and I wanted to go to the zoo with them. I was so excited it has been forever since I have been to the zoo. Dax is a little to small to appriciate it but it was still alot of fun. Here are the pictures:

Happy Halloween

For Halloween we went to Grandpa Chet's new place and Trick-or Treated there. Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa Turner's and their trunk or treat. We then headed tdown to my parents house where we hung out and stayed overmight.

Teething

Dax is getting his first teeth, he is getting the two on the bottom in the middle they haven't broken through yet but will soon. Here are a few pictures.

Here is a picture of all the drool that comes along with teething he even has bubbles on his chin. Here he is eating a teething cookie that Grandma and Grandpa Lofgran got him for Halloween.

On Thursday my sister in law ventured in to Ogen to take pictures of the kids in thier Halloween costumes, my niece McKinley was so fun. We had a really good time. Daxton was very tired though, if you can't tell from the pictures.

Dax has also started using a sippy cup, sometimes, he mostly just likes to play with it but every now and then he will take a drink.

Random

It has been a long time since I have done a post. I started my new job, and things were a little busy. Work is good, it just takes some getting used to because I have never worked in the hospital setting before. It is challenging and that is why I like it. There has been alot of things that have be happening. Daxton is now 7 months old and learning so many new things, he can almost crawl, he mostly pushes himself backwards and gets frustrated right now. He started eating baby food and he loves it now, but not at first. I have of course have put pictures of it below.

Now he loves it and loves to try and help, this is the result we end up with most of the time now. Ok maybe not this bad all the time, but he can get out of control. This is his picture from when we went to Tomato Days in Hopper. I entered him in the cute baby contest, he didn't win but he loved his prize he got. This is from Saturday we went down to the Baby Expo and had alot of fun. This is him trying to be happy when he is hungry.

First Camping Trip

This last weekend we went camping with some of our friends it was a lot of fun. It was Dax's first camping trip and he did pretty good. We were just worried about him getting cold the whole time.

Dax is 5 months Old

So this weekend Dax and I went to my parents house 'cause Corey was teaching an ATV class with his dad up in the Uintas. My brother and his wife came down also. They have a little boy just a couple of weeks older than Dax. This is a picture of them together.

Here is a cute picture of Dax, Corey and I took. I can't believe my baby is already five months old. He amazes me everyday with the new things he is learning and his cute personality. He can now sit up on his own, he still gets a little wobbly sometimes, but generally does really well. He's such a Big Boy.

July 24th Vacation

We went to Lyman again for the 24th of July. It was alot of fun. We went shooting and Corey went riding and we just hung out and relaxed.

Daxton is 4 Months Old

I can't believe Dax is already four months old. He rolled over yesterday from his back to his tummy for the first time. I can't believe all of the things he is learning to do. We had his appointment with the Doctor and she said he is very healthy and doing really good. He is just small(in the 8% for his weight, height and head). But she wasn't worried at all.

Yard Work

Corey and I have been doing some yard work. We got a new tree for our front flower bed and installed a couple new sprinkler heads around the yard. Here is a pic of our new tree.

Lyman

We went to Lyman this last weekend with my family it was alot of fun. We went to Goblin Valley and Capitol Reef and then just hung out and relaxed it was nice to get away.
