Yellowstone

We went to Yellowstone with my family the week after we went to Lyman with Corey's family it was a fun couple of weeks.

Moab 2011

The first week in April we went to Moab with our friends. It was alot of fun. We left Friday afternoon and drove down with Jeff and Jessie.

We met up with Landon and Kim for dinner in Moab; they were already down there staying in a hotel. Then we started looking for a camp spot and kept looking for a camp spot, and kept looking. Landon finally found us one, but by then it was almost eleven and we were beat. So we got a hotel the first night.

We then went on a hike that was right across the road. It was up to Bow Tie Arch and Corona Arch. It was a fun hike, Dax loved it.

We ate at the Moab Diner that night, Yummy. On Sunday the weather was pretty crappy, it was rainy and cold. Jeff and Jessie were nice and let us hang out in their trailer. We went to a waterfall later that day.

Then we went back to camp and had duch oven dinner. Jessie made BBQ chicken and potatoes, so good, and we made dessert. Unfortunatly all good things must come to and end so we woke up Monday morning, packed up and were on our way home. We stopped in Price to eat lunch and went to the Dinosaur museum there. Dax loved it.

Las Vegas

This last weekend we went to Vegas with my parents. My Dad works down there during the week and flys home on the weekends, so he has a place to stay down there and everything. It was so much  fun, thanks Dad and Mom.

Dax loves big trucks so we showed hime the big truck at my Dad's work, he pretended to drive and honked the horn. When it actually honked he was done with the truck.

This pic is just funny Dax decided to try on my shoes and surpisingly could walk in them with out breaking his ankle.



Las Vegas: Bass Pro Shops

There were tonz of fish there, so Dax loved it and the animals didn't talk so that was even better. Granpa and Grandma bought him a fish which he loves. We had a lot of fun here.

Las Vegas: The Strip

One day we went to the strip, we saw the lions at the MGM, the M&M Factory, the Coke Store (No pictures of that because Dax refused to get his picture taken with the bear), The Rainforest Cafe (Dax loved the fish....the Elephant not so much), and we saw Buzz and Woody outside, as you can tell from the picture he did not like them either.



Las Vegas: The Old West Nevada Town

We decided to go for a ride up the canyon and my parents had seen wild donkeys at this place so we went to go find them. It just so happened that the little Old West town was up and running. You paid $5 and got to go on a train ride see some shows and go to the petting zoo. It was fun and worth the five bucks.



Lyman

There are so many things that I have wanted to post but haven't lately, but I figure I will eventually get caught up. We went to Lyman over Labor Day with Corey's family. It was so much fun. Dax loved it, there were cows in the feild next to the house and he thought they were great. I don't have pictures of it, but he now says "bmoooo" everytime he sees something that looks like a cow.

He was nervous about the ATV at first but warmed up and had alot of fun. We went to Capitol Reef on Sunday and saw some deer.

We also hiked to the top of Thousand Lake Mountain. It was very pretty on top. A little hard carrying Dax but we all took turns and it was ok.

He wanted to walk by himself, he had so much fun finding sticks and hitting the rocks with them.

Trip to Vegas: Many Firsts

Last weekend we went to Vegas with my family. My dad lives and works there during the week so we were able to stay at the house he lives in during the week. It was so much fun. We drove down to my parents house Thursday night and Friday morning hit the road with my parents. Dax did alot better than I expected him to. Here are a few pictures from the fun adventure.

Dax had his first Happy Meal while were there; he loved it. He got chicken nuggets and ate almost two of them and a little apple. The whole time he was eating he was playing with the box and showing everyone in line what he had. It was so funny.

My dad's house has a heated pool and so we went swimming. It was Dax's first time, he had a lot of fun.

First Camping Trip

This last weekend we went camping with some of our friends it was a lot of fun. It was Dax's first camping trip and he did pretty good. We were just worried about him getting cold the whole time.
