Daxton

I wanted to do a post telling some of the funny things Dax has started doing. He is growing up so fast and learning new things everyday. He is definatly all boy. He loves playing in the dirt, motorcycles, tractors, trucks, trains, airplanes and helicopters. I can't keep him inside, he has learned how to unlock both the screen door and sliding door; going outside on his own on a regular basis. He is not a fan of bugs, it is very funny, it took a while but he will finally pick up and hold a worm.
He has become very fasinated with the potty and likes to pretend to go. He has only really went once, but eventually it will happen regularly. He has learned the terms pee and poo. The other day he had a poopy diaper so we were getting ready to change it and my phone rang so I told him I would be right back. It took me maybe one miute on the phone and I hear him, "Mommy, Mommy!" So I go into his room and he is laying there on the floor with his diaper undone saying, "I stinkies". I laughed so hard.
He also loves the dirt bikes in the shed he always wants to sit on them. The other day Corey and I decided to get the XR-75 out and start it up. Dax was so excited he got to take a ride on the "cycle".

Supercross 2011

Well as always I am a little behind on my posting, so Corey's birthday and Easter are down a little bit. This last weekend we went to Supercross! It was so much fun. We rode TRAX up to the stadium and Dax loved it, he still talks about the "Choo, Choo". So for all of you who don't know what Supercross is, it a a dirt bike race. They race all over the US and one race is in Canada. They get points everytime they win or place above 10th I think. Anyway they add all the points up and whoever has the most at the end of the season wins. Sorry picture overload.

This is Chad Reeds bike.
(He is is in second in the points race with one race to go.)

Kevin Windham "K-Dub"
He is considered the old mad of the sport cause he is 32. He is one of my all time favorite riders. Currently in 7th place overall, so he won't win, but you gotta give him props.

Here is almost everybody we went with posing with a replica of his bike. Dax didn't know why we were sitting him on the bike like that. He was ready to ride.

He always does some sick transfer accross the track in the opening cerimonies, pictures just don't do it justice. He's the blue dot, if you click the picture it makes it a little bigger.
His Exit

Trey Canard
He is a rookie this year and was doing great until he fractured his femur in practice now he is out for the rest of the season. I was sad.

Davi Millsaps
He is very fun to watch, known as the heartthrob. Hes cute but not that cute. Very fun to watch. He drove right past us and I was so excited  I forgot to snap the picture so this is the best I got. Silly me.

This is Ryan Villopoto, he is #1 in the points lead. This is his first season back after a horrible crash where he broke his leg and had to have rods and screws put in. So he has made a great recovery.

Here are a few pictures of Dax,
Yummy burger

My dad handed him off to the Supercross girls, he was not Thrilled, I could have been the the dark haired one looked like she was going to eat him. Who knows.

He loved watching the raced, he kept twisting his hand and making his motorcycle noise.

Let the races begin!

Our camera battery died so that all we got.

Corey's Birthday and Easter

Ok so I am an idiot and published the super cross post before this one, so please scroll down and read it too, we had so much fun. This year since Corey's birthday was so close to Easter we celebrated botha at the sametime. We spent Saturday with my family.

Corey had some helpers to open his presants.

My sister, Abbie, made Corey a John Deere cake. Camie, my other sister made the dog out of rice krispy treats.
He had help blowing out the candles too.

We had an Easter Egg Hunt.

Getting into the easter basket from Grandma & Grandpa.

Then colored eggs.

On Sunday we went to Corey's parents house, had a yummy dinner and an Easter Egg hunt. Dax of course went to the sand box first.

Playing in the sand after the egg hunt.

We had a small presant opening event, Corey had already got his big presant, a string trimmer. The rest were gift cards. Boring but that is what he wanted.
The grandkids opening their presants from grandma and grandpa.
