Daxton is 2!!!

I can't believe Dax is now 2. He has been very into McQueen lately so he had a Cars party complete with McQueen cake and pinata. He had so much fun with his cousins and family, thanks to everyone for making it a special day.

The Cake
Corey helped me come up with creative ideas for snacks:
Grape Kool-aid = Oil
Cupcakes = Air Filters
Jello = oil filters
Pepermint Patties = clutches
Licorice = shocks
He loved opening his presents, maybe a little too much. If anyone tried to help they got a stern "Hey!" from Dax.
The Piniata
Everyone got to take a turn and then Corey ended up breaking it.
Dax loves Sweets.
After Dax's birthday we went to Las Vegas for a little Vacation. You can read the posts below for all of that fun.

Happy Birthday Corey!

We celebrated my wonderful husbands birthday this weekend, it was a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who came.
Dax helping Dad.
Here he is showing me the card my parents got him, he thought it was pretty funny. It said they were going to get him some clothes but they remembered who he was married to, so he probably didn't have any closet space. He had plenty of helpers in the gift opening catagory.
New Chain for his Bike.
Him with the bike stand his parents gave him.
The cake! I swear we had candles but we couldn't find them at the last minute so I improvised.

Happy Birthday Daxton!

Dax is one! This year has gone by so fast. He is a very happy little boy. Here a just a few of his accomplishments:
He is a speed crawler, and working on walking, He has taken quite a few steps.
He caan go up the stairs and down as long as someone is there with him.
He says Da Da, Ma Ma (very rarely), De (for Diesel), and he can bark
and he loves getting into anything he is not supposed to, including pushing any button he can get his little fingers on.
Ok so the pictures are a little backwards but here they are. Dax had a fun birthday, thanks to everyone for helping him have a fun day.
Bath time after the cake. Notice his green tongue.
Still licking the frosting off his fingers. Digging In. His cake before demolition.
Dax got so many fun gifts.
His cousin McKinley helped him open his presents, Thanks McKinley!
